The Role and Purpose of the BMS Market Access Team in Denmark:

Our team comprises passionate and skilled individuals who collaborate cross-functionally with industry-leading medical, HEOR, and commercial colleagues. We foster a casual environment at our office in Sorgenfri, where it is important for us to create space for differences, job happiness, results, ambitions, and humor.

Our mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines and help Danish patients prevail over serious diseases. To achieve this, we work to detect, analyze, and solve economic, administrative, and political barriers that impede patient access to BMS medicines in Denmark and Iceland.

Key Responsibilities for the Market Access Manager:

We are looking for an experienced colleague to join our Danish team and lead the development and implementation of market access strategies for both existing and new products. As a Market Access Manager, you will play an integral role in cross-functional collaboration with skilled colleagues. Your work will involve relational, analytical, and operational aspects related to the processes surrounding applications to the Medicines Council. Additionally, you will be pivotal in ensuring the regional implementation of our treatments post-approval.

Collaborating with national and regional authorities as well as experts within individual therapy areas is an essential part of your responsibilities.

Working in brand teams is the key to success, and in close coordination with your Brand Teams the areas of responsibility will also encompass:

  • Preparing and supporting optimal conditions for new treatments launches.

  • Leading the Medicines Council applications process, developed in close collaboration with our experienced medical team and health economists.

  • Supporting and implementing market access strategies and activities for existing treatments

Requirements:

  • Broad Understanding and Experience: It is important that you possess understanding of and practical experience with the Danish healthcare system. Familiarity with the processes related to the approval and commissioning of new medicines is also crucial.

  • Danish Healthcare System Experience: The ideal candidate should have several years of experience within the Danish healthcare system. This experience can come from working in a relevant authority or the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Market Access Knowledge: Proficiency in market access is vital. Specifically, familiarity with the Medicines Council and Amgros will be advantageous.

  • Networking Skills: An established network is highly desirable. The ability to engage in natural dialogues with regional and national decision-makers is a valuable asset.

  • Educational Background: A relevant university master’s degree. Disciplines such as economics, social science, public health, or medicine with an industrial specialization are suitable.

As a Market Access Manager with us, you will become part of an energetic and ambitious team.
