Responsible for general accounting.

Execute the monthly Financial Reporting close process and ensure Financial Statements are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with relative Local/ US GAAPs and BMS accounting policies and guidelines.
Responsible for the integrity of the Balance Sheet accounts and perform fluctuation analysis on monthly basis
Drive the timely resolution of open balance sheet reconciliations items.
Support external auditors with timely preparation and integrity of the Statutory Financial Statements.
Support the Tax COE in their completion of Tax provisions and returns by providing timely financial information when required.
Support the preparation of Legal Entity projections and budgets. Provide in-depth commentary to explain fluctuations and support key changes.
As required, support the implementation of Finance projects.
Facilitate responses to stakeholders inside and outside country on ad hoc requests.
Establishes strong working relationships with various stakeholders including APAC GFS and Tax CoE
Review and approve financial transactions: Invoices in SAP; Credit / Debit Notes, Check requests
Continually evaluates work according to department's priorities and eliminates unnecessary work.
Responsible for treasury works including cash flow management.

Minimum 7 years of experience working in a global and / or multi-divisional finance organization.
Experience of closing book, reporting financial data to Corporate..
Experience of using an integrated business software package and financial reporting modules. (e.g. SAP and Hyperion)
Deep knowledge of GAAP for both US & Japan and local tax.
Displays ability to manage various activities simultaneously and to prioritize tasks.
Consistently delivers on all commitments and provides support to ensure all departmental commitments are met on a timely basis.
Excellent understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to question and challenge current processes and drive improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure that the aims and objectives of Finance are achieved.
Demonstrated ability to communicate both in Japanese and English effectively.
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field in addition to US/JP CPA or equivalent.
