Bristol Myers Squibb Technical Scientific Office (Government Relations) Officer in RIYADH, Saudi Arabia

The TSO (Govt. Relations) Officer role is to undertake all the activities for official submission of legal company documents, including but not limited to visa processing, company licenses and employee official paperwork.

GROs ensure that all employees joining the organization comply with Saudi government regulations and employment laws. They work with the HR team and have full responsibility for all labor law related matters. GROs will directly deal with government departments with regards to visas, licenses and sponsorship.

Key Role Accountabilities:

Responsible for all Company duties involving government agencies; these include labor, immigration, embassies, ministries, traffic and government department.

  • Ensure BMS Scientific office license renewal at SFDA, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, Civil Defense, GOSI, SAGIA, etc.

  • Communicating with Governmental entities to issue licenses and other related documents as required

  • Keeping abreast with current labor/ immigration laws and provide continuous updates and advice in regards to the new regulations from governmental departments

  • Submission of documentation to the Ministry Of Labour for visa applications

  • Update visa administration information records / tracker system of employee data of all historical process

  • Payment of all fees including; Labour Office, visa transfers, Labour Card, bank guarantees, medical tests

  • Organizes attestation of certificates and legal translation of documents and other activities related to immigration and labour

  • Coordinate and communicate with all employees for all government requests and respond on enquiries on visa / labour/ passport

  • Maintain all documents required by governmental agencies while processing them, and submitting them to concerned employee

  • Manage Jawazat and MOL processes with Distributor

  • Work closely with HR on employment contract

Education required:

  • Diploma from Administration institute or equivalent

Experience and Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field

  • Saudi national

  • Professional knowledge in Labour Office and Jawazat and Governmental Regulations

  • experience with Governmental Procedures in issuing licenses and other related documents

  • native Arabic, and min. B1 in English

  • good time management and communication skills,

  • Good knowledge of Saudi labour and immigration rules
