Immuno-Oncology Discovery Team at Bristol Myers Squibb, Redwood City, CA, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Research Scientist to aide in the advancement of therapeutic targets at various stages. The candidate will characterize immuno-modulatory antibodies, and explore both the mechanism of action and combinatorial therapeutic strategies. The candidate will be expected to effectively collaborate with colleagues in the oncology, immuno-oncology, protein engineering, and antibody development groups. The candidate will likewise contribute to the design and analysis of in vivo efficacy studies in mouse tumor models.


  • B.S. in immunology/biology or related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or MS with 0-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Technical expertise in cell culture and aseptic technique

  • Experience with multi-color flow cytometry

  • Experience in isolation, characterization and functional assay development using primary immune cells of rodent and/or human origin

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and innovative research environment

  • Flexibility and interest in learning new techniques and skills in accordance with the research program needs

  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, and record-keeping skills
