The Senior Manager, Procurement Transformation & Execution role will support the strategy development, oversight and advisory of the change portfolio and change initiatives within Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P). The role will support the Operating Model & Strategy lead to ensure changes brought about by SS&P and BMS strategic initiatives are adequately managed in an operational state while maintaining effective alignment of stakeholders, business processes, and technology implementations.

It is expected that this role will support the development & document change management playbooks, support trainings, and engage across various stakeholder groups to collect feedback. This role involves a combination of communication, coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to facilitate successful change within the Procurement organization.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities : 

Change Strategy Development / SME

  • Leverage the Change Management Capability to support initiatives on various levels (small, medium, or large)

  • Contribute to a change community of practice as a mechanism to foster a robust change management community and to amplify the impact of our change strategy

  • Serves as a point of contact for change management activities including technology implementation, operating model and integration initiatives within the SS&P

  • Use a structured change management methodology (e.g., process and tools) to guide portfolio-level and initiative-level change management activities

  • Contribute to SS&P change management playbook that provides a change roadmap and documents strategies, processes, actions, best practices, lessons learned, etc. Playbook will be used by respective project leaders during times of transformation

Change Management Planning & Advisory

  • Support in the development, advisory, and monitoring of Change Management Plans in collaboration with project sponsors, project managers and key stakeholders across SS&P and the business

  • Advise on stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, engagement plans, change readiness plans and quantitative success measures that will reinforce change, for applicable programs

  • Maintain records of change management activities, such as key metrics, milestones, meeting minutes, change impact assessments, and progress reports

  • Actively engage and collect feedback from employees and stakeholders regarding the changes and provide this feedback to the change management lead

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop partnerships across SS&P, Project Leads, as well as stakeholders outside of SS&P such as HR, Corporate Communications, etc., to understand existing mechanisms, communications channels, and educational forums

  • Ensure adequate engagement is performed to drive awareness and buy-in of changes across impacted stakeholder groups

Internal/External Stakeholders   

  • Strategy & Performance team within SS&P,

  • SS&P Management throughout the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Team

  • Third Party Vendors / Managed Service Providers

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum education of a B.S./B.A.

  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant business experience (i.e., change management experience in large scale change initiatives and organizational effectiveness activities in a highly regulated environment) in which two (2) to three (3) years are multi-disciplined procurement experience .

  • Experience with Change Management principles and best practices

  • Strong project management and planning skills

  • Experience participating on cross-functional and/or global teams

  • Internal stakeholder management and strong virtual team participation

  • Effective oral and written communication skills to influence, inform, or guide others
