Bristol Myers Squibb Operations Lead, Cardiovascular Sales in Princeton, New Jersey
This candidate will be responsible for sales operations & effectiveness for the US based cardiovascular sales team, reporting directly to Lead of Cardiovascular Sales. This individual will work closely with multiple stakeholders to help increase the sales force effectiveness with key focus on the Eliquis brand. Additionally, this individual will partner with CV Sales leadership team to develop, plan, and execute national strategy, ensure achievement of executional priorities, and drive overall superior performance and customer experience for CV sales force. This role will have reporting responsibilities for CV AMSO (Assoc. Manager Sales Ops) and AMFOs (Assoc Manager Field Ops).
Duties and Responsibilities
Supports and contributes to the sales business planning and execution process.
Connects and collaborates seamlessly with all functional groups to ensure seamless execution of approved sales force effectiveness tools, initiatives, and technologies.
Responsible for Sales and Marketing integration and alignment of initiatives, sales force communication, sales force tactical execution and maintaining CV Sales calendar of meetings
Maintains and updates the sales force execution and performance tools
Provides sales force insight into POA brand and non-brand workshop design, content, materials logistics, and digital support.
Manage planning and execution of Fast Start Meetings, Talkpoints, TTT and POA meetings throughout the year
Leads the inquiry resolution process for the Sales Force. Required to anticipate, troubleshoot, and solve gaps within the operational support for the Sales Force.
Lead communication plan with field sales force, with support from CV sales communications lead as needed, including providing updates via Spotlight and ensuring communications are aligned with overall communication plan for the brand
In order to be successful in role, the individual will need to:
Effectively collaborate and communicate with BMS matrix team, including but not limited to, members of the brand marketing teams, field sales force, sales learning and broader sales operations team
Proficiently manage integrated timelines to execute important field sales touch points and meetings
Clearly and effectively communicate ideas, both orally and in writing
Be willing to occasionally travel, as needed, for key sales meetings
Must be willing to work from BMS home office, located in Princeton, NJ
BA, BS or equivalent degree required.
Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience and at least 3 year of other pharmaceutical experience including marketing, sales training or sales operations.
Experience and knowledge of the cardiovascular therapeutic area and market is desired.
Previous experience should exemplify:
A proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization and a strong ability to build alignment and work collaboratively with others.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with proven project management experience.
Experience in utilizing online systems including sales force applications and Mercury.
Clear understanding of BMS organization culture policies and procedures.
