Bristol Myers Squibb Manager, US Commercial Operations in Princeton, New Jersey

Summary

The primary role will be to provide support of U.S.-wide business priorities, including management/oversight of the Promotional Review Process (PReP), business planning calendars, culture change projects, and other cross-brand key initiatives as determined by the Head of U.S. Commercial and the Head of US Commercial Operations. The individual will partner with a large cross-functional set of stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Legal, Commercial Regulatory Affairs, Medical, and IT. As a member of the Operations team for the Head of the U.S. business, this individual will interface with the U.S. Leadership team and other senior-level stakeholders as needed.

Accountabilities:

Drive all PReP related process implementation and continuous improvement efforts across all US brands/ teams (Oncology, Innovative Medicines, VA&P) in partnership with matrix teams (Commercial Regulatory Affairs (CRA), Medical, Legal); includes leading work streams, ad hoc business cases, training.

Lead the Promotional Review Core Team, a collaboration between Commercial, Regulatory, Operations, Medical and IT functions.

Develop/maintain a dashboard of KPIs with input from the Core Team to monitor and assess PReP performance to provide regular updates to brand and functional team leadership.

Facilitate the bi-annual PReP survey process and provide feedback to Brand Leads and other senior leaders to drive increased team performance and cooperation between functions.

Plan, manage and lead PReP training efforts/ forums.

Partner with learning teams to support role, process and system related training. Advocate and model the desired defined future behaviors to foster positive change across the organization.

Partner with IT to evolve the technology to support the promotional review process.

Lead ad-hoc initiatives in support of U.S. business priorities. Projects may include close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, IT, Operations or Organizational Development functions.

Lead execution of Commercial Innovation Tournament in partnership with market Commercial Operations leads.

Additional Responsibilities:

Partner with cross-functional Operations teams and each Brand to maintain U.S. planning calendar, business continuity management efforts, SOP catalog, and IMPACT dashboard.

Support annual brand planning process and business reviews.

Drive culture change initiatives to contribute to an energizing workplace in PPK.

Qualifications:

Experience in US commercial strategies that drive business performance.

Bachelor degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Marketing or Sales experience desired.

Ability to work across the matrix and influence all levels associated with the Promotional Review process.

Strategic and ability to take an enterprise view.

Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts a plus.

Project management experience.

The position will be located primarily at the Princeton Pike location.
