Bristol Myers Squibb Director, Pan Tumor Segment Optimization - US Solid IO in Princeton, New Jersey


The US Solid IO Director of Pan Tumor Segment Optimization will be responsible to develop and lead segment optimization strategy and execution with focus on key customers segments including Organized Customers (OC), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Allied Health Care Professionals (AHCPs), and Health Informatics Technology (HIT) Specialists. The position will report directly to the US Solid IO Oncology Commercial Pan Tumor Lead and will have two direct reports. Close collaboration with the tumor and cross-functional teams is a requirement for success. In this role and through the leadership of his or her direct reports, the Director of Pan-Tumor Segment Optimization will:

Manage, coach, and mentor a team of 2

Develop and lead segment optimization strategy with focus on key customers segments including OCs, GPOs, AHCPs, and HITs

Collaborate with the Market Research Team to identify and leverage deep customer insights

Oversee executional tactics aimed at these key customer segments

Oversee evolution of the proactive patient management narrative and pull through

Facilitate and leverage cross-tumor and cross-functional collaboration within these key customer segments to ensure well-rounded pull through of the strategy and cross-functional execution

Foster strategic collaboration with OCs and GPOs aimed at improving patient care

Drive organization innovation through leading and piloting “big ideas” at the pan-tumor level


BS/BA required with MBA or other Advanced Degree Preferred

Minimum of 7-10 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience

Prior Health Care Practitioner marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in customer focus, insight mining, strategy development, message development, and marketing analytics

Prior OC, GPO, or payer marketing experience preferred

Oncology experience strongly preferred

Proven track record of effectively and efficiently shaping strategy and driving performance within a matrix organization with strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and executive collaboration required.

Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships

Willing to travel up to 25%
