Bristol Myers Squibb PROJECT MANAGER in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Provide support in developing and executing project/program plans for the Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MS&T) strategic portfolio and critical Run-the-Business (RTB) programs/projects. Support for governance and teams that would include process governance. Coordinate cross-functional, multi-site teams ensuring comprehensive planning and optimal execution of plans. Ensure timely follow up with Contract manufacturing Operation (CMO) site, key stakeholders and supporting functions. Capture and facilitate risks, mitigations, resolution and escalation of issues, tracking and communicating status. Supports project/programs and teams with passion, innovation, speed and accountability.
Support planning and execution of integrated, complex plans and teams for strategic MS&T projects & programs management and other critical initiatives as defined by MS&T management. Projects/Programs may include, but are not limited to, those identified during the annual Hoshin Kanri A3 process, strategic initiatives, due diligence, business continuity, technology transfer, product launches, and significant regulatory activities.
Manages project/program activities including recurring status meetings, reporting, RAID, and escalation for conflict resolution. Drives delivery of detailed plans, critical path activities and timing while achieving key milestones. Coordinate with resources to attain project deliverables and project communication for all stakeholders. Facilitates problem solving and decision making; addressing risks and issues by documenting, communicating or escalating to appropriate governance. Ensure collaboration with stakeholders. Drive consistency in project management tools and templates in line with Project Management best practices. Support change management strategy and plan. As assumptions change, escalate potential impact on plans and timelines, and ensure execution to closure. Foster high performance teamwork and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Responsible for capture and communication of key learnings between existing and future project teams taking advantage of available knowledge management tools.
B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Pharmacy, science, technical discipline, or allied business function.
CAPM, PMP or similar professional certification highly desirable.
Proficiency with project management and Microsoft tools, e.g. Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Familiarity with BioPharma or life sciences industry.
5 years of business experience, 3 years in life sciences, including demonstrated 2 years of project experience.
Experience in project/program support. Ability to achieve results across a global matrix organization (e.g., operations, manufacturing technology, quality, supply chain, finance, R&D).
Ability to work independently with high level of accountability.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and have the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management.
Strong analytical skills, well organized, and a strong desire to learn and advance project management proficiency.
