Bristol Myers Squibb Warehouse, Cryogenics and Logistics Supervisor in Cruiserath, Ireland
Bristol-Myers Squibb has built a new state-of-the-art Multi-Product Cell Culture biologics manufacturing facility in Cruiserath, Dublin 15, approximately a $1 billion investment. Once commissioned, the new facility will significantly increase Bristol-Myers Squibb’s biologics manufacturing capacity and play a central role in its global manufacturing network.
BMS Cruiserath Biologics is seeking to recruit a permanent Warehouse, Cryogenics and Logistics (WCL) Supervisor. Reporting to the Warehouse, Cryogenics and Logistics Manager, the WCL Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of WCL operations including responsibility for execution of all activities associated with:
GMP Warehousing and cryogenics
Inventory movements across site
Supervision of WCL Team responsible for receiving, sampling, warehousing, Cryogenics, BDS storage and shipment- activities for the Cruiserath Biologics Site and ensures continued conformance with all relevant regulations.
Act as a mentor for the WCL Associates and Technical Leads
Promote open communication between WCL team and all site departments, including planning & scheduling, procurement, quality and manufacturing groups to ensure materials are available, delivered on time to support production activities and a high level of internal customer service is provided to each team.
Management of JIT Warehouse operations and Kanban replenishment throughout MPCC
Identifies and implements process improvements for WCL processes.
Contribute to Operations Excellence initiatives related to warehousing and materials management
Work with manager and team to ensure that materials management areas and processes are inspection ready at all times, ensuring success during regulatory audits for the area
Promote Safety, Leadership, Team Building, Performance Standards and BMS Behaviors
At all times operate in a safe and responsible manner and actively promote and evolve a safety culture on site and safe working environment for all employees.
Highlight safety concerns as a first priority and escalate any near misses to target prevention of safety incidents.
Report all safety concerns to the WCL Manager.
Use appropriate safety and GMP clothing and protective equipment as per training and relevant SOPs.
Operate all production equipment within the assigned functional area in a safe manner.
Familiarise yourself with your working environment and have an awareness of emergency procedures in manufacturing production areas and general site.
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required:
The candidate should ideally possess a BSc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or science-related discipline
3+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain role with experience in Production, GMP Warehousing and logistics.
Trained on Powered Industrial trucks, Turret trucks, reach truck, motorized pallet trucks, HGV’s etc.
An understanding of regulations with regard to handling of hazardous materials.
Excellent interpersonal skills required, ability to interact professionally with all staff, both up and down the organization.
Good knowledge of computerized production and inventory control systems (SAP) and documentation practices.
Experience/ knowledge in Biologics manufacturing is preferred.
