The Access & Government Affairs Director will be responsible for the overall Access and Government Affairs Strategy for the whole BMS’s portfolio across the South Hub (Argentina, Chile & Peru) promoting strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the correct patient can access to the treatments at the correct time.

The position is cross functional in nature and is part of a highly matrixed organization, working on a wide range of needs and issues from evaluating payer insights to influence brand strategies to reviewing and leading the approval of new business cases for in-market brands. Role Qualifications

High Learning Agility to continuously learn in changing environment.

Solid understanding of the biopharmaceuticals industry;

Strong understanding of the current and emerging Market Access environment

Launch/ commercialization /Regional or global program leading experience desired.

Successful record for a significant business and/or geography. Exposed to volatile markets in economical/political and social environments, preferable experience in Latin American markets.

Holistic experience within the healthcare industry, with functional expertise across commercial and non-commercial roles.

Fluent in English and Spanish, verbal and written.

Ability to manage a team successfully, with direct and indirect reports, by applying the right level of management focus, control and support and ensuring commitment and passion

Experience and track record of both coaching individuals as well as leading teams

Ability to formulate and communicate outstanding strategic thinking in a highly complex environment.

Proven success of change and innovation management combined with the right sense of priority, focus and results

Excellent leadership skills; with a strong ability to build, motivate and develop a strongly competent and diverse team

Excellent stakeholder management skills; with the ability to influence and persuade the full set of internal and external stakeholders towards achieving target outcomes

Ability to lead efficiently in a highly matrix environment
