Position Summary:

This role will plan and schedule maintenance and instrumentation work in record to support a cell therapy manufacturing facility in an audit ready and compliant state. The CMMS Manager is the principal contact and liaison between facilities, production, quality, safety, and other supporting departments in relation to determining scope, timing, and execution of planned and unplanned maintenance work on various utility, laboratory and manufacturing assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and clarify scope of work requests and work records.

  • Plan a general strategy of work to be performed (preventative and corrective), which may include the development of pre-task plans, permits, work plans, and job hazard analyses.

  • Plan work ensuring necessary resources (labor, parts, tools) are identified, and coordinates/schedules work ensuring equipment and resource availability.

  • Assist in the evaluation of the current maintenance, calibration, and certification related procedures and recommends changes to optimize management and administration programs.

  • Oversee the operation of the site's current CMMS to meet the needs of the business, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

  • Assist with induction of equipment/instruments into the site's CMMs, provide expertise in the selection of instruments and development of calibration and maintenance events.

  • Develop, revise and review related SOPs or work plans for work related areas. Ensure accuracy of workplans.

  • Plan and support CMMS outage to minimize site impact to operations.

  • Enter, create and modify data in the site CMMS system, Blue Mountain RAM.

  • Maintain communication with stakeholders with information regarding the execution of their requests.

  • May be asked to pull data and reports from Blue Mountain RAM system to assist in the development of staff metrics.

  • Maintain and update metrics monthly.

  • Provide reports to support validation requirements, deviations.

  • Lead and act as a point of contact for onboarding Maximo

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors in Engineering or related discipline, or its equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of facility management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

  • Knowledge of maintenance, operations and engineering.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in one of the following fields: clean utilities operations/maintenance, biopharmaceutical process equipment maintenance, alignment if manufacturing schedule with the maintenance schedule

  • General understanding of building systems including life safety, lighting, electrical and plumbing

  • General understanding of critical utility systems such as compressed gas, vacuum, and HVAC

  • Experience in developing and following up on contracts with outside vendors in the performance of maintenance activities

  • Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as BMRAM and Maximo, preferred.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $92,000 - $115,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decid ed based on demonstrated experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS (US Only):

  • Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment that requires gowning.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Work in areas that may have strong magnets.

  • Work in areas where handling human blood products (Biosafety Level 2) may be required.

  • May work in areas with exposure to vapor phase liquid nitrogen.

  • If required, must be able to work nights, weekends, mandatory bi-weekly overtime, and holidays in a 12-hour shift structure.
